Muharrem Efendi leads his life as the caretaker of the Hakiki Baba Shrine. An unexpected event at the shrine forces Muharrem to confront his faith and livelihood. As inspectors question the authenticity of the shrine, it emerges that urban renewal and housing projects are developing in the area. While Muharrem questions his beliefs and identity, he makes a decision that will change the course of his life when an unexpected guest arrives. Gürsel Ates is a Turkish filmmaker who began his career in the cinema and television industry in 1984. He has held various roles, including camera assistant, assistant director, and director, working with renowned Turkish cinema masters such as Natuk Baytan, Zeki Ökten, Yusuf Kurçenli, Sinan Çetin, İsmail Güneş, and Osman Sınav. He has also contributed to TRT projects. His filmography includes Evlere Şenlik (A Festivity at Homes, 1993) and Ekmek Teknesi (The Breadwinner, 2003). He has continued to be involved in various productions since then.
