Ismail, known for his work with former militants and youth radicalization prevention, blends academic research with practical efforts. His initiatives aim to influence policy and increase public awareness about terrorism and extremism. The film is about Febri Ramdani, a 22-year-old, who follows his family to Syria in 2017, hoping for a better life but finds himself trapped under ISIS's brutal rule. After returning to Indonesia, he faces the challenges of reintegration and stigma. Determined to rebuild his life, Febri resumes his education and shares his harrowing experiences through a book and articles, aiming to warn others about the dangers of extremist propaganda.
