The island of Breuh, located in the northwest of Sumatra, is a relatively neglected area. During the monsoon season, strong easterly winds wash large amounts of plastic waste—both international and national—onto the island's beaches, creating a significant problem for the residents. The community art film project SWEET PLASTIK aims to highlight this pressing issue by exploring the inseparable connection between plastic and sweets. It illustrates how nearly all candies and beverages, such as Cola, Fanta, and Silver Queen, are packaged in plastic.

Alfred Banze is based in Berlin and works in film, performance, installation, drawing, and participatory projects. He is currently a member of Camping Akademie e.V. and participated in Kassel documenta in 2022 with Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture Thailand. Christine Falk lives in Berlin and works in painting and sculpture. She is a member of Camping Akademie e.V. and organizes participatory projects. She participated in the Kassel documenta in 2022 with Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture Thailand. Agus Nur Amal is a performance artist and storyteller from Aceh, Indonesia, who found objects to tell stories. His interactive performances have been exhibited at Dang Dege Dang Dong, Indonesian Culture Week (2023), documenta 15: Lumbung (Kassel, 2022), among others.
